The Basketball Africa League has announced global broadcast and streaming partnerships with ESPN, Canal+, NBA TV, TSN, beIN SPORTS, Tencent Video, Voice of America and American Forces Network. The inaugural BAL season will feature 26 total games and be shown in 215 countries and territories.

All BAL games will be streamed on the NBA App, NBA website and the BAL website; NBA TV will air 12 games. ESPN+ will make every game available in the United States, and ESPNews will air the opening match and finals. The NBA’s Global Statistical System (NGSS), which was built by Genius Sports, will complement BAL broadcasts.

The BAL, a partnership between the NBA and FIBA, will tip off its 18-game group phase on May 16. Eight of the league’s 12 teams will qualify for the playoffs, with the first BAL finals being held May 30.
