Heads to Arkansas Toney announced Thursday via his personal Twitter account that he has committed to Arkansas, joining the program as a transfer from Pittsburgh.
Impact The 6-foot-6 wing was one of Pittsburgh’s top players before he left the program in late February, so his addition is a fairly significant one for Arkansas as it looks to reload following a run to the Elite Eight. Over his 16 appearances with the Panthers in 2020-21, Toney averaged 14.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.1 three-pointers in 34.9 minutes per game. He’ll take up to two years of eligibility with him to Fayetteville.
