The Kansas City Chiefs were unable to defend their world championship in 2020 but made it back to the Super Bowl again, losing to Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They will try to make it to a third consecutive Super Bowl appearance this coming season. Below, we look at the Kansas City Chiefs 2022 Super Bowl 56 odds, with NFL futures picks and predictions.
After QB Patrick Mahomes led the Chiefs to their first Super Bowl win in 50 years to cap the 2019 campaign, they came back and went 14-2 last season. Mahomes passed for 4,740 yards and 38 touchdowns and led the No. 1 offense in the league.
They were the top seed in the AFC, and defeated the Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills to make it to the Super Bowl, only to lose 31-9 to the Buccaneers. They are the favorites to return to and win the 2022 Super Bowl

Chiefs’ offseason recap
The Chiefs remade their offensive line. They released both starting tackles — Eric Fisher and Mitchell Schwartz but traded for Orlando Brown and re-signed Mike Remmers. They also added Gs Joe Thuney and Kyle Long and C Austin Blythe.
On defense, they signed former Seattle Seahawks DT Jarran Reed to pair with Chris Jones and bolster the defensive interior.
Kansas City didn’t have a first-round pick in the draft because they used it to acquire Brown from the Baltimore Ravens. They had two second-round picks and used them to add Missouri LB Nick Bolton and Oklahoma C Creed Humphrey.

Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl 56 and 2021 NFL futures picks
With the Chiefs’ revamped offensive line, additions on defense and one of the league’s premier quarterbacks in Mahomes, the Chiefs are absolutely one of the best bets in the league for almost any futures market.
The chalky bet of winning the AFC West (-275, bet $100 to win $36.36) and OVER 12 WINS (-120, bet $120, win $83.33) are solid. Those are almost locks, considering the extra game this season and the division competition.
If there is any AFC team to bet to win the conference or any team to win the Super Bowl, the Chiefs are the team. They have been there each of the last two years and won it once. Betting them to win the Super Bowl (+450) and to win the AFC (+210) are as good a bet as there is.
