New information is emerging in the case against two Oklahoma football student-athletes suspended for their alleged involvement in an April 15 robbery.

According to The Oklahoman’s Nolan Clay via All Sooners, the victim informed police that sophomore wide receiver Trejan Bridges pointed a gun at him and threatened to kill him. The other Sooner involved in the case is freshman running back Seth McGowan.

Based on a separate affidavit filed in Cleveland County Court, Bridges has been evicted from his apartment following the conclusion of an April 16 search warrant conducted by the police.

An April 26 eviction affidavit, filed by Cottages of Norman attorney Ashley Schovanec which cites “information and belief,” explains that “criminal charges against Bridges are forthcoming.” As of now, the Norman Police Department informed All Sooners that charges haven’t been filed, nor have arrested been made, with the investigation ongoing.

Details of the alleged involvement by Bridges and McGowan can be found here.

Bridges has amassed 9 receptions for 101 yards in his two seasons at Oklahoma. Bridges tallied 2 receptions for 19 yards during the 2020 campaign. Last season, McGowan finished with 370 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns on 58 carries, as well as 13 receptions for 201 yards and a touchdown.
