It’s a big weekend for South Carolina Gamecocks with baseball facing No. 1 Arkansas and the football team set to hit the field for the first spring game under head coach Shane Beamer. Mother Nature, however, has led a schedule shakeup. Due to Saturday’s forecast, the baseball series finale was bumped up to Friday in a doubleheader while the spring football game was moved to Sunday.
On Friday night, Beamer was out at Founders Park to throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
