WynnBET is looking to make a name for itself in the Volunteer State. After the successful app launches in New Jersey, Colorado, Indiana, Michigan, and Virginia Sports Betting — WynnBET Tennessee will be the sixth state added to their repertoire.
Tennessee legalized sports betting in November when it approved DraftKings, FanDuel, Action 24/7, and William Hill. Since then, it has added TwinSpires, BetMGM, and now WynnBET to operate in the state. Tennessee has been very aggressive over the past few months approving more competitors in the state.
Wynn Resorts — the parent company to WynnBET — has been gaining market access across the country. They also secured market access to launch in Iowa, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts. WynnBET is looking to quickly gain market access across an array of areas throughout the United States.
WynnBET Partners With The Memphis Grizzlies
In addition to going live in Tennessee, WynnBET has a previously announced marketing collaboration with the Memphis Grizzlies. Per the WynnBET Tennessee press release, the first collaborations between the two entities will begin on May 10th.
The expectation is that fan-facing activations during home games will begin then and include the debut of the WynnBET touring vehicle. It will be interesting to see what this looks like. For now, WynnBET describes it as, “a custom-built mobile experience that travels the country hosting exclusive events and special appearances.”
The partnership between WynnBET and the Grizzlies will be ongoing and be featured across the Grizzlies’ social media platforms. The “digital-first” strategy from WynnBET will be shown in Tennessee with help from Grind City Media.
